Amit Jain was born and brought up in Jaipur. He completed his primary education from St Xavier’s Senior Secondary school in Jaipur. He was a bright student during his school days and always excelled in academics. During his college days, Amit Jain prepared for IIT and got the seat in Delhi IIT during 1995. He passed out of Engineering in 1999.
After completing his graduation, he managed to work for TCS and other companies for about 6 years. Career
Amit Jain started his career in the IT industry by working for top companies like TCS. As he is from IIT Delhi, he had lot of offers from many companies. He was also working for Yourbillbuddy.com for some time before moving back to Jaipur due to personal issues. As his father suffered from cancer around 2006, he quit his job and settled in Jaipur.
Unfortunately, his father died and Amit Jain worked for his parent’s gemstone company for some time. It was during that time he collaborated with his brother Anurag Jain to start a software company called GirnarSoft in Jaipur. It was a small startup and he setup the company in the garage of his home.
The year 2008 was a turning point for Amit Jain and his brother as they attended an Auto exhibition in Delhi.
