Ammu Abhirami belongs to a family of musicians. Her father works as a Sound Engineer in the Tamil film industry and has earned a good reputation for his work. She got good encouragement from her parents to enter the industry. At a young age, she contested as a participant in the children’s program Tamil Pesu Thanga Kasu.
Abhirami impressed every one in the show with her communication skills. She was in 3rd standard at that time in 2008. Career
Ammu Abhirami started her career as an anchor when she was a child. She attended the Makkal TV’s program, Tamil Pesu Thanga Kasu in 2008 as a contestant and managed to win the Gold Coin. The makers were impressed with her language as she was a talkative girl. They offered her the role of anchor and she ran the program for an year.
She was back to studies after that and made a comeback in the year 2016. She started shooting for Ratsasan and had to leave college as she could not get proper cooperation from her college authorities. Her father suggested her to take a break from studies and focus on her acting career.
The movie Ratsasan was delayed due to changes in production team and she got further opportunities in other movies. In this way, Bairavaa starring Vijay and Keerti Suresh became her debut movie in the year 2017. She played the role of hero’s sister and got good attention from film makers for her innocent looks.
