Damini Bhatla was born in Rajamundry but her family moved to Hyderabad when she was young. She started learning music at a young age of 4 and was a student of Satyavathi Akunda from Kakinada. After coming to Hyderabad, she joined Carnatic music school and got trained nder NC Murthy and DV Mohan Krishna.
When she was about 10 years old, she participated in the singing reality show Padutha Teeyaga which was judged by legendary singer SP Balasubramanyam. She was the runner up in the show and got huge popularity at a young age. She was later chosen as the anchor for a music program in Zee Music channel.

Damini Bhatla started her career at a young age as she became a contestant of musical reality show Paadutha Theeyaga. She got good appreciation from judge SP Balasubramanyam as she became the runner up in this show. She was also participant of Sa Re Ga Ma show in Zee Channel and later became a host in that channel.
She used to host musical programs and also conducted interviews at a young age. She continued her primary education in Hyderabad and also learnt classical and light music from trained professionals.
