Ravindar Chandrasekaran started his career as a producer in the film industry with Sutta Kadhai movie. The movie was made on a moderate budget under Libra Productions banner which is owned by Ravindar. He selected director Subbu to run the project and it got decent success at the box office and established him in the industry.
After tasting success with his first movie in 2013, Ravindar moved on to make another movie titled Nalanum Nandhiniyum with good actors. This movie became a huge hit even though it was made on a small budget. It got him lots of fame and money in the film industry. This movie was released in the year 2014 and also won few awards in Tamil cinema.
Ravindar had one more interesting project in 2014 which was titled Kolai Nokku Paarvai. However, this movie did not get much response from the audience and it failed to work at the box office. He took some break after this movie and came back with another movie Kalyanam in the year 2017.
