Career
Robo Shankar made his debut in the film industry with the movie Dharma Chakram in the year 1997. However, it was a very small role and his name was not even mentioned in the credits. In the year 1999, he did Padayappa alongside Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan. In this way, he went on doing small roles in Joot, Aai and Karka Kasadara for the next few years.
After doing small roles, he started getting roles which had dialogues. In the movie Chennai Kadhal, he played the role of a police officer and this movie was released in 2006. In the next year, he was part of movies like Deepavali and Madurai Veeran which got him decent fame as he had slightly lengthy roles.
In the year 2010, he was part of Azhukkan which did not get much success at the box office. Interestingly, he had an interesting role in the hit film Rowthiram which was released in 2011.
