Career
Ronit Roy started his career working as an assistant for Director Subhash Ghai. He started his career with Ram Lakhan movie in the year 1989. After that, he decided to enter the industry as an actor with the movie Jaan Tere Naam in the year 1992. He did not get noticed for his performance as he usually got small roles in films.
In this way, he continued for many years with movies like 15th August, Sainik, Bomb Blast and Jai Maa Vaishnov Devi. He even tried his luck in Bengali movies as his mother tongue was Bengali. He was seen in an interesting role in the Bengali movie Bansodhar which was released in the year 1995.
In the year 1996, he was seen in four movies but none of them got him big break. He was part of Jurmana, Rock Dancer, Daanveer and Megha projects in that year. After that, he tried to test his luck with TV serials and did small roles in Bombay Blue and Baat Ban Jaye. he was also part of Naagin and Suraag serials for a few episodes during 1999.
