Sunny Kaushal started his career in the film industry with the movie My friend pinto. He assisted the director and got good experience for a few months. After this, he became the assistant director for the hit film Gunday which was released in 2014. He was keen to act and joined theatre to get some experience.
He finally made his acting debut with the comedy movie Sunshine Music Tours and Travels. This got good response and he was praised for his acting skills. He later got to play the lead character in the sports movie Gold which was released in 2018. Even though it got poor response at box office, it boosted his career as he had delivered good performance.
