Chirag Paswan is an Indian actor turned politician, parliament member and former president of Lok Janshakti Party. He is the son of former Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan who died in 2020. Chirag decided to participate in election at Jamui constituency where he was able to won his seat. Recently he was in the news after his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras replaced him as Lok Sabha leader of the Lok Janshakti Party. Chirag also does compromise with that and don’t want to split. As an actore he was appeared in Bollywood movie Miley Naa Miley Hum along with Kangana Ranawat in the year 2011.

Chirag Paswan started his career as an actor with the Bollywood movie “Miley Naa Miley Hum” in 2011. unfortunately film went flop in box office and cinema so he decided to quit acting and join politics. He belongs to political family. Chirag mentioned that the reason to join politics is his father’s illness and added that for him politics Is more comfortable than acting.
He started his political career in 2014 Lok Sabha election by participating at Jamui Lok Sabha seat where he won by 85,000 votes and defeated to Rashtriya Janata Dal’s Sudhansu Shekhar Bhaskar. In 2019 election he retained his seat by defeating nearest rival Bhudeo Choudhary. He was elected as member of 16th Lok Sabh from Jamui constituency in Bihar. At the same time his father won from Hajipur. Chirag is also involve in social activities and has his own NGO named “Chirag ka Rojgar” with this they helps unemployed youths to find jobs.
In Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 he started campaign ”’Bihar First Bihari First” to create attention of youths. In feb 2021, he donated ₹ 1.11 lakh for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. In his career he held various positions to serve the country. He was Chairman of igilance & Monitoring Cell, Jamui, Member of Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare, Member of Committee on Member of Parliament Local Area Development Schemes, Member of Standing Committee on Science & Technology, Environment & Forests. He was selected as national president of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on November 5, 2019. but recently on June 14, 2021 he was replaced by his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras. After he forced to 5 rebel MP’s because of their anti-party activities including Pashupati Kumar Paras and cousin Prince Raj.
