Nancy’s father works for the US Army and he fell in love with Nancy’s mother when he was working in South Korea. She completed her elementary education from Wolbae Elementary School in Daegu region.

Her parents moved to the US due to her father’s job and she studied in Ohio for about 6 years. After coming back to South Korea, she joined the Hanlim Multi Arts High School in Daegu and participated in various shows and events during her school days.
