Chaithra officially started her career as a script writer by writing for a Kannada-based Tv serial. After that till now she worked with so many popular writers and lyricist. She also written many advertisements and TV commercials. She was said to gave auditions for the movie Soojidara and she was selected for supporting role. She become popular after appearing in hit Kannad movie “Soojidara”. She got many praises and attention for her acting. Her sexy figure and attractive personality and amazging talent help her to gain attention of many producers and directors. She was seen in the Kannada movie “Ondu Dina Ondu Kshana” as a Deputy Commissioner in 2019. She did a role of a vamp in the popular Kannada TV serial “Lagna Patrike” in 2020 which is aired on Colors Kannada.

- In 2019, During she was in the Bigg Boss Kannada 7 house She was came in Controversy when she used the word “Untouchables” for another contestant Deepika Das. She got many criticism from public and Ambedkar Sena who mainly works for scheduled caste community. They also filed a FIR against her for passing hurting comment on their cast. After that she came and apologised and said that she was against casteism and her attention was not to hurt anyone.
- Recently she was came in news when she attempt a suicide on 8 April 2021 at her home in Kolar, Karnataka by drinking drinking Phenyl liquid. She was taken to immediately and her condition is said to be stable at moment. After this case in local police investigation it is found that Chaithra’s husband’s parents were not happy of their marriage and ended their marriage on the same day of their wedding.
