Yohani began playing & singing songs in her free time at a very young age. Then, in March 2016, she launched her YouTube music career. She started uploading ermake versions of famous songs. In just a short period of time, she had gained over a million views for a cover song. She continued to upload cover songs to YouTube until August 2020 as a result of this success. Red Bull Records signed her and released her first single, “Aaye”, in August 2020. There were three more singles released that same year – “Sitha Dawuna”, “Rawwath Dasin”, and “Merry Christmas Baby”. She has released other singles so far in 2021, such as Haal Massa Viyole Viyole and Manike Mage Hithe. Her song “Manike Mage Hithe” went viral on almost all major social media platforms including Tiktok, Youtube and Instagram.
